my favorite meal is dinner #2
"Don’t take a nude pic if you’re a famous woman and don’t want it leaked."
"Don’t wear a hoodie if you don’t want to be mistaken for a criminal and shot."
"Don’t get drunk at a party if you don’t want to be sexually assaulted."
"Don’t argue with a cop if you don’t want to get killed."
"Don’t walk home by yourself if you don’t want to get raped."
Victim blaming 101: Everyone should live in fear from ever doing anything.
Oh my God. Pulling the victim blaming card. It’s not about being in fear of doing anything. It’s about risk assessment. Your job is to minimize risk and maximize reward. Yes, having a couple drinks puts you at risk for predators and poor decision making. Driving out at night puts you at risk for getting in a car accident with a drunk driver. Actions have consequences. You wouldn’t save your social security number somewhere online because you know there are people who are skilled enough with a computer to find it. You shouldn’t go to a party alone and not know your own limits with alcohol. You should have someone make sure you get home safe if you don’t feel as though you can protect yourself on your own. Expecting society to take care of you instead of taking care of society is pathetic. To quote JFK, ask not what your country can do for you, ask what you can do for your country. Tired of listening to you people expecting the cheetah to let the gazelle walk instead of understanding the gazelle has its own defenses at its disposal.
